Uptown Funk AI turns one photo of you or your pet into a 15-second street dance video: you lead four backup dancers down a retro New York-style street. Add an optional second photo of one person or pet and all four backup dancers become that same face. You download a 720p, 9:16 MP4 with no watermark and the opening 15 seconds of the original “Uptown Funk” recording; each video is 20 credits, and packs start at $9.90 for one video.

How your clip plays
Your video follows a set routine built on the music video’s best-known moments. It opens on a close-up of the lead grinning at the camera, then the lead struts down the middle of the street with the crew in step behind. Next: a low crouch with palms out and hands sweeping side to side, a side shuffle by the whole line, a point at the camera, and a spin that ends leaning back with arms spread wide. The AI follows the routine, but every render plays it a little differently.

Credit packs are one-time payments through Stripe, not a subscription. Pay by card, or with Apple Pay on supported Apple devices.
Photo 1 is the lead. Photo 2 can show one adult who said yes or one pet, and all four backup dancers become that same face. Leave it empty and the crew are four strangers; the lead is never copied into the crew.
A 720p vertical MP4 in 9:16, saved in your account. Download it (on iPhone, Save Video from the share sheet) or share it straight to TikTok.
Our server adds the opening 15 seconds of the original “Uptown Funk” recording by Mark Ronson featuring Bruno Mars. The MP4 you download already has it, so there’s no music to add later.
If a finished video has a problem, email support@uptownfunk.org and we’ll refund the credits that video used, in money, to your original payment method; if you’ve only used part of a pack, the credits you haven’t used are refunded in money too. Failed renders and refused photos get their credits back automatically.
In the cat-crew version, a young man leads the strut while ragdoll cats in grey vests dance in the line behind him. Put a photo of your pet in slot 2 and every one of the four backup dancers becomes that pet. Your own photo goes in slot 1 so you lead the line.
One TikTok creator dropped himself into the lead spot, sunglasses and knit cardigan, with a crew dancing in step behind him. That’s the easiest way in: one clear photo of your face as photo 1, and you strut down the street at the front; the routine dresses the lead in a late-’70s funk look.
The trend took off with AI look-alikes of tech CEOs strutting in suits down a retro New York street, posted on X on October 7, 2026. For your own version, skip the famous faces: the generator turns down photos of public figures, so use your own photo or a friend’s who said yes.
Every video is 15 seconds and costs 20 credits. Packs are one-time payments in USD, and the credits never expire.
Single
One video to try it with your best photo.
Trio
Three videos: you, a friend and the dog.
Crew

It’s AI-made remakes of the “Uptown Funk” music video in which other people, pets or characters take the band’s place, strutting and dancing down a retro New York street to the song. It took off after AI creator Gary Lau posted a clip of tech-CEO look-alikes on X on October 7, 2026, and Google searches for “uptown funk ai” started on October 18. Here you make your own 15-second version with your photo in the lead.
There’s no free trial and no credits for signing up, but you can earn credits by inviting friends: +1 credit for each friend who signs up with your link (up to 50 credits) and +10 when an invited friend makes their first purchase. Otherwise the smallest pack is $9.90 for 20 credits, which is one 15-second video. Packs are one-time payments and the credits never expire.
A failed render is retried once automatically for free; if it fails again, the 20 credits go back to your balance automatically, and a photo the model refuses gets its credits back too. If a finished video has a problem, email support@uptownfunk.org and we’ll refund the credits that video used, in money, to your original payment method; if you’ve only used part of a pack, the credits you haven’t used are refunded in money too.
Your photos are only used to make your video. They’re deleted automatically 30 days after upload, and the AI provider doesn’t keep them. Finished videos stay in your account until you ask us to delete them, or the whole account, by email to support@uptownfunk.org.
One is enough: photo 1 is the lead, one person or one pet with the face clearly visible. Photo 2 is optional; add one friend or one pet and all four backup dancers take that face. Leave it empty and the crew are four strangers, and the lead is never copied into the crew.
Both. Upload your pet as photo 1 and it leads four backup dancers down the street; or upload yourself as photo 1 and your pet as photo 2, and the same pet becomes all four backup dancers, like the viral ragdoll-cat crew. Use a clear photo of one pet; its face and fur stay as in the photo while the AI dresses it for the part.
Yes. The opening 15 seconds of the original “Uptown Funk” recording by Mark Ronson featuring Bruno Mars is added to your video on our server. It isn’t an AI-made beat, so there’s nothing to add later: download it or share it to TikTok as it is.
AI creator Gary Lau (@garylau_ai) posted it on X on October 7, 2026: AI look-alikes of Elon Musk, Jensen Huang, Mark Zuckerberg, Sam Altman and others singing and dancing down a retro New York street. It had 458,177 views on X and 1,867,278 plays on Bilibili as of November 1, 2026. Our generator doesn’t accept photos of celebrities or public figures, so in your version you, a friend or your pet take the lead.
